BRING ON THE BLUE!!

Tyler and I are excited to tell the world!
WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!!!!
(or as Tyler likes to put it... "We're having a MAN!" (boys! :)w/ a roll of the eyes!)

God is so good. Our baby boy was moving and kicking and moving his mouth when we got to see him. It was such a beautiful thing to see this baby moving!

Also some exciting news-- I've realized that i've been feeling the baby move for the past few days. I researched it some and the feelings that were described in a few articles is exactly what i've been feeling. WOW!!

WOW Arkansas really does have pretty sunsets!

This evening I got home to find Ty out golfing across from our apartment. I went and sat in the grass to talk to him and realized that this was the first pretty sunset I have seen in Arkansas. It looked just like the ones in Nebraska! I couldn't resist getting the camera for such beautiful pics!

15 weeks!

I'm a week late on this post :) oops!(15 week belly :)

We're officially 15 weeks! YEAH!

This past weekend (Thursday-Sunday) I was able to babysit for Scott and Kristen Shaw's kids while they went on a little get away with friends. It was the craziest and funnest weekend i've had in a long time! I got to play mom to a gorgeous 7 year old girl, Kate, and a very grown up 5 year old little boy, Cooper. It was adventurous throughout the whole thing! I got to learn what going to preschool was and having the little boy tell me that I could leave. I got to be a homeschool mom with the 2nd grade girl (SO FUN!)

On Friday the kids and I made snacks for Tyler's bday on Saturday. WHAT FUN! We went to the Siloam football game with a mom and her three kids who were friends with the Shaw's. Little Cooper fell asleep during the 3rd quarter while Kate stood at the fence engrossed with the cheerleaders:)

Saturday we slept in till 7 and then turned the TV on in their parents bed and watched Saturday morning cartoons.

Sunday was church and the lunch and then an afternoon of resting for tired kids (and MEAGAN!)

Scott and Kristen made it home around 9:30 to very eager kids!

It was such a great experience and honestly an affirmation from the Lord that even though there are the hard a frustrating times that I had during the 4 day weekend, I still believe that He is calling me to be a mom. I am SO happy!

This is Cooper- ever so cute :)

This is the beautiful Kate :)

(These pics were taken a few months before this weekend when they came to Tyler and my apartment for a sleepover :)

14 weeks!

Yeah for 14 weeks!

I found some maternity Jeans of Craig's list for just 10 bucks that look just like regular jeans. I'm excited because they fit perfectly right now! (the rest of the maternity jeans are still just a bit big.)

Yesterday, Tyler and I began our mission to get diapers at inexpensive rates. We're playing with the idea of clothe diapers- we've heard great things about a place in Fayetteville that picks up your clothe diapers and launders them. The cost 5 years ago was just 10$ a month for people that lived in Fayetteville with a 2x per week pick up. We're still investigating it, but, boy would that save money!

We also were able to find a place that gives away diapers if you do certain things to prove that you're taking the time to become an educated parent- we got 6 little 10 packs of huggies just for doing some of prep stuff.

And of course we hit up the target deal for the week :) we got 3 jumbo packs for pretty cheap!
