ike at mines

On Tuesday, we took Ike back to school.  It seemed as if Fall Break flew by! Ike had class and wrestling on Wednesday so we didn't get to see him on this day- on Thursday we got to see him in the morning before we left to head back to NE.  Mom was able to show me a little of Ike's school while he was in class and practice. 

Colorado school of the mines is in Golden Co.  Near Denver.  It was such a nice campus! It was fun to finally get a visual of where Ike is!

I'm just so proud of him!!

33 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 33 weeks

Size of baby:  17  in long and around 4 lbs

Maternity Clothes: yes

Gender: It's a BOY!! (Grayson Dees)

Cravings: popcorn and cucumbers seem to be always on my mind ;) Having a veggie plate for dipping in ranch is also a winner :)

Movement: he's a strong one! seeing his elbow and feet through my stomach makes me smile :)

How's momma: doing good! still no migraines! Keeping my diet healthier, not missing my daily exercise, and trying to keep stressors away has definitely helped.

Best Moment this week Being in NE for 10 days!! (the 11-21) and having this past weekend with the whole fam (minus Ty) It felt like a holiday having everyone together- rain came Saturday so that even kept dad out of the field and around to enjoy some football and fellowship!

What I am looking forward to: Going to Colorado to see Ike's school and college town.  We leave Tuesday the 16 and will get back to NE Thursday the 18.  Travel is hard and uncomfortable but I don't know when i'll get this opportunity again so we're taking advantage!!

    i'm also looking forward to seeing Ty. I am sure missing him! Rome does too- he'll ask me throughout the day, "where's daddy?" breaks my heart- but I love that he LOVES him :) I'm so thankful that it worked out for us to come up here.  Ty's on a business trip for a majority of these 10 days so it worked out nicely for timing.

Roman: Is a farm boy at heart. Getting to see the tractors and combine at work is a real treat for this little guy! He got to combine with grandpa the first day we were heard and just loved seeing the whole operation. He's also been battling an ear infection.  BUMMER! but he seems to be getting better and sleeping through nap and na-night time (thank goodness!)

32 weeks/ultrasound

This last week I had my 32 week appointment.  Roman and my mom were able to come and see baby Gray with me.  He has TURNED!! yea for a head down baby! Rome stood beside me on his chair and watching his reaction to seeing his brother on the monitor was priceless.  Because Gray is so big, it was hard to see him clearly.  BUT we did get to see the little mans ears and a few other features.  

31 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 31 weeks

Size of baby:  16.5  in long and around 3.5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Yes! dresses and Ty's bball shorts are amazing!

Gender: It's a BOY!! (Grayson Dees)

Cravings: not too much- diet's pretty consistent- coffee in the morning; veggie plate with dip for lunch and smoothies for dinner. Since the little guys growing, I definitely get full a lot faster then I used to!

Movement: regular for sure :)

How's momma: doing good! still no migraines this week-keeping energy up to continue exercising.

Best Moment this week having a dr app was good- everything is going smooth and healthy.

What I am looking forward to: Hopefully getting some house things accomplished- nursery, cleaning, etc

Roman: so big! it's crazy how every day when he wakes up I think he's grown in his maturity talking, his intuitiveness, his independence.

-heartburn is doing amazingly better!

- exercising is going smoothly.
